Troubleshooting Common Alarm Codes on CNC Tube Benders for Fast Production Recovery

Alarms and unexpected stops disrupt shopfloor production. Basic troubleshooting knowledge reduces downtime before technician arrival.

Alarms fall into three categories: servo drive alarms, hydraulic alarms and safety limit alarms.

Servo alarms are usually overload or communication failures. Check loose motor cables and workpiece jamming causing heavy load. Powercycle the machine and see if error recurs. For repeated alarms, verify servo drive parameters.

Limit alarms happen when axes hit soft/hard limits. Do not force start. Retract axes manually to safe positions. Check tooling/workpiece interference and whether limit sensors are displaced or blocked by metal chips.

Hydraulic alarms indicate low pressure or overtemperature. Inspect oil level and cooling fan operation.

Note: Do not open electric cabinet for complex electrical faults. Record alarm codes and failure conditions and contact manufacturer support. Keep machine clean; metal chips often trigger false sensor alarms.
